Bernie Boldt was born in Rochester, MN, and shortly after, his family moved to Owatonna, MN where he spent his growing up years. He grew up in the ministry of Grace Baptist Church and Owatonna Christian School where his family was actively involved in various ministries. After graduating from OCS, he attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College for 1 1/2 years and then went on to pursue a career in masonry. During that time he also began attending Oakland Baptist Church in Oakland, MN where he led the Youth Group and drove the bus for the Bus Ministry. Thru serving and God's leading Bernie decided to go back to college in 2004, and in 2008, he graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College with a degree in Youth Ministry and Christian Camping. He coached the soccer team at Pillsbury and continued to serve at Oakland in several capacities. In 2009, Bernie was called to be the Pastor at Oakland Baptist Church where he continued to serve the various ethnic groups of the community. A Christian school was started for the families of the ministry in 2014 and run by Pastor Bernie and his wife, Nicole.
In August of 2019, Bernie was called to be an assistant pastor and administrator of Saint Francis Christian School. His varied ministry experience and passion for the next generation is a great fit for the ministry at SFCS. Bernie enjoys serving, playing and working together with his wife, Nicole, and their five children: Rylan, Emma, Kovii, Taivys and Aydrik.
