As a church, we recognize the many good activities with which we could busy ourselves; but we are most interested in focusing our time, abilities, and resources on the advancement of the Gospel — the good news about who Jesus is and why he matters. With that in mind, First Baptist Church ministries revolve around our 4 Core Values, which define who we are as a church and why we’re here:
Seek the Lord –Psalm 63:1-3
We want to grow in our knowledge of God and pursue a relationship that puts Him above everything else.
Submit to the Word – Colossians 3:16
God’s Word, the Bible, is the focal point of our lives and our source of instruction and corrective growth.
Serve the Church – Hebrews 10:24-25
One of our goals is to provide opportunities for members to use the abilities God has given them to serve the body of Christ.
Spread the Gospel – Matthew 28:19-20
Following the command and example of Jesus, we want to share the good news of the Gospel and make disciples both locally and globally.
