Our Purpose

First Baptist Church exists to bring glory to God. Since 1864, the congregation of First Baptist Church has sought to glorify God through a living out of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Living the Gospel is possible only through God's grace and is begun by faith alone in Christ alone. Towards that end, we have gathered together under a common mission statement:

The mission of First Baptist Church is to lead people to Jesus Christ and grow together as faithful disciples.
